A study on visually narrative music. What are the different visuals that people would get from listening to a song? Does the music itself invoke similar visual references over a group of people? Or is it unique to the individual listener? Does it always involve movement through a narrative story? What about a space? Or time?
I want to make a visually interesting animation that has both aesthetic appeal and meaning. It doesn't necessarily have to have meaning to everyone. I wouldn't even begin to imagine that any work of art has meaning to all that see it. But I want it to have meaning to myself and the people I include in the project. It is my experiment or interpretation, but it is their story. I want to be able to express the impact that music can have on an individual person. As well as how a musical piece can create connections between people.
